LARSON INTRODUCES ALL-NEW LXH 230 IO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Pulaski, WI (October 18, 2017) – Larson continues to grow its popular LXH series, adding the all-new LXH 230 IO to the family for 2018. This beautiful bowrider combines sport-boat agility with copious onboard deck space to ensure every outing provides the comfort, safety and performance active families seek.

“We’re pleased with the success of the LXH line and are thrilled to give boaters another fantastic option for family cruising and watersports,” said Rob Parmentier, president of Larson Boats. “The 230 IO delivers just that, along with some great new features that bolster comfort and convenience.”

The 230 IO continues the use of the LXH series’ “pickle fork” design. This unique structure creates a wide and deep bow for extra onboard space, in turn increasing passenger comfort and safety. Smart seating configurations line the boat from bow to stern. This includes roomy bow seating with fold-down armrests and space for a 6-foot tall person to stretch out his or her legs, providing a place of easy reprieve for everyone in the family—from the littlest tike to Dad. Catch some rays or catch up on a good book in the bow, which features an optional filler cushion to create a large sunpad, and a built-in chaise lounge with self-draining storage below to keep clutter at bay.

The thoughtful use of space on this 23-foot, 10-inch bowrider carries over into its storage and deck layout. Storage abounds, but doesn’t take up an inch of onboard space thanks to clever placement, including compartments in the bow seat backrests, in-floor compartments, and a large, deep lockable glove box at the helm for holding more valuable items.

A 2-foot wide integrated bolt-on swim platform with optional bow access ladder further expands space, bringing passengers closer to the water.

When not relaxing onboard, boaters can take advantage of the 230 IO’s exceptional performance. Powered by a standard 200-hp Mercury® Mercruiser 4.5L Alpha engine or the optional 300-hp Mercury 6.2L Bravo III, this boat performs like a champion. The optional Xtreme wake tower will take thrill-seekers’ wakeboarding or water-skiing game to the next level. A Rockford Fosgate® audio system with USB charging station and audio control port comes standard, while optional Rockford Fosgate single- or double-can speakers crank up the party.

As with all Larson LXH models, safety has been built in. A full wrap-around windshield protects from the wind, and integrated navigational lights in the stainless steel gunnel molding guide the way back to the dock as the sun dips below the horizon.

“The LXH 230 IO is a true family boat,” Parmentier said. “Whether you’re a watersports enthusiast or a lounger, you’ll fall in love with the 230 IO’s smooth ride, powerful performance and premium comfort.”
